Refund policy
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. We require proof of purchase or a receipt to process your return/refund. To complete your return, please email us at info@ezysteel.com.au with any photos or information about your purchase and the reason you would like to return it and we will respond with the next steps or any information you require.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product you purchased from us has a major failure (as defined in the Australian Consumer Law) then you are entitled to a refund.

Custom Orders & Non-Standard Items
We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on custom orders or non-standard items. This applies to:
- Any item manufactured or cut to specific measurements, configurations, or requirements
- Any product that is not listed as a standard stock item on our website
- Large quantities of any item specially ordered in on your behalf that we would not ordinarily hold in stock and cannot reasonably sell or use upon return
We do not accept change of mind returns on any of the above. By placing a custom or non-standard order, you acknowledge and agree that the item has been produced or procured specifically to your requirements and cannot be cancelled once the order has been placed or production has commenced. Where large quantities have been specially ordered on your behalf, we are unable to accept a return as these items cannot be restocked or reused by us.
Nothing in this clause affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law in the event of a major failure.
Mill Finish & Material Variations
Our steel products are supplied in a mill finish. As a natural characteristic of this material, every sheet will vary in appearance and may include surface variations, marks, or minor imperfections. These are not considered defects and do not affect the structural integrity or performance of the product. Mill finish variations are an inherent property of the material and do not constitute grounds for a return or refund.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
We do not offer exchanges.
Shipping
Shipping costs are non-refundable. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. You will need to organise shipping via Australia Post or a suitable courier for the item to be returned to our warehouse. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item as once in the shipping network, it is out of our control.
